The Lost: Angels or "almost angels" that have fallen from heaven accidentally and wander the earth. Some of them have regained their memory, and must choose between a normal life or joining Lucifer in a coup against Heaven. Many have strange new powers, such as levitation and the healing of others.
Demons: Servants to Lucifer. They're hobbies are causing torment and living sinfully. Most take on a human disguise when they show up on earth. You'll probably find them at the local brothel.
Angels: Servants to God. They normally reside in Heaven, watching what the "normal" people do. But many have come down to earth to try and re-erase the memories of the Lost, or to eliminate them permanently.
Humans: Flesh and blood, not too much going on. The humans in this city are beginning a journey to hell already, through the brothels and crime filled streets. Demons try to get their hands on these guys all the time, and now even angels are using trickery to get them on their side.
Mutants: Humans that have become more powerful than their brethren because of illegal experimentation or a "freak gene". The most common mutants have showed psychic abilities, especially telepathy; others have more...destructive powers.
